In 2004 The City of Akron approved expansion plans for Akron Fulton International Airport. Plans for the $10 million project involve more than 12 acres of prime land for the development of an aviation park, which will include space for Corporate & Private Aircraft Hangars and Offices. Development will take place adjacent to the former Piscatelli's Ristorante at Triplett Boulevard circle. As of 2006, this project is on hold.
