Here Are Just a Few Reasons Why Our Students Choose American Winds Flight Academy
American Winds Has TWO Career Paths
For Our Students
(1) The Professional Pilot Program
AWFA has developed the Professional Pilot Program (P.P.P.) to prepare individuals who have chosen to become airline pilots or corporate pilots for the interview process and additional knowledge that will be required on the job. Upon succesful completion of the P.P.P, AWFA will also provide placement assistance. This program or participation in placement programs does not guarantee an interview or employment.

(2)The Commercial Pilot - Single Engine Land Program
The students will obtain the knowledge, skill, and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a commercial pilot certificate with an airplane category rating and a single-engine land. Students considering enrolling in the Professional Pilot Program can start with the Commercial Pilot - SEL Program to decide what is right for them. It is possible, but not required, for students to take academic courses concurrently with this program. Each course can be utilized as a tool for self-enhancement and will ultimately make the student a better Commercial Pilot.
